Inventory Management System (IMS)

Inventory Management System (IMS) is the process of ordering, storing, using and selling a company’s inventory. This includes the management of raw materials, components and finished products as well as warehousing and processing of such items.

Track and Trace System in Packaging and Delivery (TePaD)

The TePaD system tackles the tracking of the products from the primary packaging to the warehouse in an automated manner.

RHJ Tijarah Sdn Bhd (Tijarah) is a pioneering research-based company, dedicated to provide safe, natural and halal personal skincare and body care products. Its products are specifically formulated for use during ihram, providing a mesra ibadah and mesra wuduk experience. Its business is mainly on formulation, storing and distributing the products whilst manufacturing of the product is externally outsourced. Amongst Tijarah main pain points are :

No inventory management system to track and monitor the products that are being sold online or offline. Most of the time the number of stocks received from the factory are not the same as the number of products sold.
As its products are niche to mesra wuduk and ihram, Tijarah needs a system that can deliver insights of its product so that its brand transperancy can be maintained. This can be achieved by giving the required contents which is accessible via QR code.

Its electrical distribution is mainly in supporting the development of connection systems in low and medium voltage field. Tekno has identified its main pain points as the following :

Manual inventory tracking – use of forms and manual data entry to Excel Software leads to difficulty in stock tracking, inaccuracy, delay in product delivery and possible of creating fake documentation.
Warranty tracking – Tekno products come with warranty to ensure high quality and gain customer trust. As other suppliers can provide the same tools, it is difficult for Tekno to verify its product when they are faulty. At this moment, the verification is done manually which leads to extensive file searching and time consuming.
